PFN – époque press é-zine Seeking Submissions about: Hunger
We are now open for submissions to our next é-zine edition on the theme Hunger.
Hunger is about the body’s need for food and sustenance, the agonizing and gnawing feeling when food is denied or the extreme impact experienced when starvation sets in. It is about what is consumed, how things are consumed and whether the sense of satisfaction derived from satiating hunger can give way to addiction and greed. Hunger is also about a sense of yearning, a strong wish or desire to achieve or want something. It can be a positive feeling, something that is praised and valued in an individual, but it is also something that can become all consuming, a hunger which takes precedence over everything else.
What does Hunger mean to you?
We are open for submissions of poetry, short stories and short essays. Please submit your work in an attachment to the email as a MS Word Document. Please accompany your submission with a short bio of no more than 100 words telling us a little bit about yourself, the motivation behind your work and how it aligns to the theme. This can be attached as a separate MS Word Document or within the text of the email. Please email submissions@epoquepress.com and in the subject header state ‘ezine submission’, name of theme and your name.
