Submission Guidelines
NO identification of any form should appear on your entry.
The staff judges anonymously, so please refrain from including your name on submissions.
Submissions must be previously unpublished. This includes Internet publications such as Facebook or personal websites and blogs.
**Send one submission per email. Do not attach multiple files to your email or multiple submissions in one file.**
Subject: The subject headline of the email should say “Eye Contact Submission” followed by the category of your work (e.g.: “Eye Contact Submission: Poetry”).
File: The file of the submission should be named what the title of the piece is. We do not accept untitled files.
Body: The body of the email should contain the following information in this order:

One Sentence biographical statement
You may submit no more than 3 poems, limited to two pages per poem. Repeat the title in the upper right corner of the second page. Please send the file as a .rft, .doc, or .docx attachment. You may submit 2 stories, limited to a maximum of 1500 words per piece. (Please note that pieces under 1000 words have a better chance of publication.) Submissions must be typed and double-spaced.
