Contest Theme: “Change”
Form: Any form
Winners will be published in the Winter, 2025/26 issue.
Rules:
1. Anyone may enter
2. The poem must focus on the process of change, or the
result of change. Considering synonyms such as alter, mod
ify, replace, become different, conversion, metamorphosis,
renewal, shift, “flip-flop” etc may also spur ideas.
3. Name and address ONLY on back of each page. Use 8 ½
by 11” paper. You may submit up to four entries. One entry
per page. 24 line limit.
4. One prize per poet. SASE for winner’s list. Non-winning
entries will be considered for publication in the “Editor’s
Choice” section. Entries not accepted by email.
FEES: $5.00 per poem. If you submit at least TWO entries
you will receive a complimentary issue, Vol 52, No. 3
PRIZES: First Prize $35 Third Prize $25
Second Prize $30 Honorable Mention $15
(In case of ties, the prize amount will be divided equally
between the winners for that place and both will be pub-
lished.)
THE JUDGES’ DECISION IS FINAL. Any poems not conforming to the rules
will be disqualified. Entry fees will not be returned. PLEASE MAKE
CHECKS /MO’s PAYABLE TO WIND & WATER PRESS. (Canadians: I’m
sorry, but bank fees make it prohibitive to cash checks, even in US funds. Please
