NPF – Hecate Magazine Seeks Submissions on Devotion
Important: Limited Demographic: Submissions are restricted to those who are not cisgender males.
Submission Guidelines
Hecate Magazine accepts poetry, short prose and creative non-fiction (more details below).
-
We are based in the UK but we accept (and strongly encourage) international submissions. We are an inclusive space and strive to platform marginalised voices. We particularly welcome submissions from BIPOC and the LGBTQIA+ community.
-
While we accept dark materials and works dedicated to the lived experience and trauma, we reserve the right to determine what is gratuitous, damaging or inflammatory. We will not tolerate any content of an offensive nature. If we receive such submissions, your name will be listed and your work will be indefinitely banned from publication with Hecate.
-
We accept simultaneous submissions and works that have been published in other places (including your own blog or social media). However, you must retain rights to this work if published in another print or digital magazine. By submitting you confirm that Hecate has permission to republish this work. Hecate asks for First Serial Rights for all works submitted to our anthologies and Non-Exclusive Rights for all works published as part of our online journal.
-
We regret that at present we cannot pay writers a fee for their work. We sincerely hope that this will change in the future.
-
You can contact us regarding any submission queries (including withdrawals) via editor@hecate-magazine.com
