What we love most is writing that has found that preternatural detail of thought or thing that cracks the story open and allows it to matter or to reveal a truth. We love poetry but do not publish it.
We want your best, original and unpublished work and will consider up to four stories at any one time. We do reply personally to every submission and every query. We aim to treat you right.
Sometimes we wish to make small changes in a piece we want to publish but will never do that without consulting you— with one exception: If you have offset the final line of a piece for no good reason, we will put it back in the body of the piece where it belongs.
