Please read these guidelines carefully as due to the volume of poems received submissions that do not follow them are deleted without being considered.
Allegro is open for submissions until 31st July 2025 for poems on the theme of ‘Gold’.
Poems pasted in the body of an email. No attachments.
No simultaneous submissions or previously published work. Previously published includes appearance on personal websites or blogs that are visible to the public.
Only one submission per poet for each window.
Maximum four poems per submission.
Maximum length for each poem 40 lines.
Include a third person biography maximum 50 words.

In submitting to Allegro Poetry Magazine you confirm that the work is your own and that you own the copyright.
As a free magazine Allegro Poetry Magazine has no income and so cannot pay contributors.
Once your work has been published by Allegro Poetry Magazine you are free to use it elsewhere but please credit Allegro Poetry Magazine as the place of first publication.
