We welcome poetry from both new and experienced poets!
Poems are selected not only for their individual qualities, but also in conjunction with the other poems chosen for each issue. Please consider that your poems, if declined, may simply not be the best fit for this publication at this time and place.
SUBMIT : No more than 3 poems, all in one single document, with page breaks in between each poem. All forms of poetry are encouraged; read previous issues for a sense of our general vibe. Make sure your poems are as finished as you believe they can be before submitting. Very occasionally, we may ask you to consider small edits before offering an acceptance. Complex forms and longer-line poems may need to be adjusted for our web platform.
If you have been previously published by RMR, please don’t send more work for at least 2 years: we prioritize new-to-RMR voices. Please wait two months before inquiring about your submissions; however, if you haven’t received a response by then, feel free to send us a message via Submittable. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but PLEASE either withdraw your total submission as soon as possible if the poems are accepted elsewhere, or use the message feature to let us know if you need to withdraw a single poem.
