Silkworm 18: Cycle Call for Submissions
Silkworm 18, the annual review of the Florence Poets Society, is open for submissions February 15, 2025 – March 15, 2025.
Publication autumn 2025.
Submission Guidelines:
- Members and non-members of the Florence Poets Society are encouraged to submit.
- Submit up to three original poems, no longer than 50 lines each, in a single document, .doc/.docx only.
- Include a 30-word bio.
- Submissions will only be accepted through the Florence Poets Society Google submission form.
- Poems will be read and, if accepted, published as submitted. We cannot accept revisions unless to correct spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors. Editors reserve the right to copy-edit submissions.
- Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. Please let us know right away if your poem is accepted elsewhere. Let us know at SilkwormPoetry@gmail.com. We claim first American publication rights, with rights reverting to the author after the initial publication period; please give us credit in future publications.
- We do not charge a submission fee.
- Submissions sent by email and submissions that do not follow guidelines will not be read.
- The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2025 5:00 pm.
- Accepted poets will receive one complimentary contributors copy of Silkworm 18: Cycle.
