PF – The Amphibian Literary Journal Issue 3. Theme: “Family/Ancestors”

We welcome writers of all genders from all different backgrounds, we have a special love for the marginalised, the refugees, immigrants and the lost.

Our main inspirations are the thoughts and impressions of people who write in English and live in two cultures at once. There is no limit on how you experience two cultures, it can be countries, gender, language, ancestors, neuro-divergence, any way that you experience your difference and explore it using the themes of the issues.

Issue 3: Submissions OPEN Family/ancestors.

We are looking for poetry and short fiction, flash fiction on the theme of family or ancestors.

Send us your stories that need to be told, and that poem that you weren’t sure about. Your momentary glimpse into the past, we’re examining the raw bones of love.

Poems can be any length however long or short, short fiction can be any length anything up to about 2500 words.

Issue 3 will also reflect the war raging in Ukraine. Olga Kovtun’s Tree of Life will feature on the cover. Olga Kovtun is a Ukrainian artist, currently a refugee.  f you have stories from Ukraine that need to be told feel free to submit.
