PFN – Call for Submissions to The Muleskinner Journal. Theme: Glitches

December 31, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Submissions for Journal Nine are OPEN!
Our Theme is GLITCHES

No.  That’s not a mistake.

For journal nine we are looking for poems and stories about glitches.
Also,
hitches, mishaps, misprints, snafus, snags, drawbacks, stumbling blocks, weak links, problems, hindrances, obstacles, monkey wrenches, grit in the gears, ants at the picnic, ants in the pants, the inappropriate aunt at the family gathering, hurdles, hiccups, forgetting to unmute, the coffee stain right before the interview, the faux pas during the interview, the faux pas whenever, painting yourself in a corner, rain delays, auto-correct, and flies in the ointment.
We want your best laid plans gone awry.
We want your glitches in the matrix.
We want glitches causing stitches and glitches putting you in stitches.
We want the glitch that doesn’t matter and the glitch that matters most.  We want hubris and humility and preparation and recovery. We want glitches causing unexpected joy.

Let us deal with your glitches.
Our Journal Nine motto: watch your step.
Our Journal Nine inspiration: the pump don’t work cause the vandals took the handle!
Submission for Journal Nine: GLITCHES will close on December 31, 2023 (that’s not a misprint)
