PFN – Call for Submissions to The Talon Review

GUIDELINES:

  • All submissions should be double spaced in 12 point Times New Roman font, manuscript format, and submitted as .docx files (unless specified otherwise*).

  • Include a short bio no longer than 250 words in the third person. This could be who you are, where you’re from, what you like to do, or where you’ve been published before. If you have a connection to Jacksonville, FL, please mention it.

  • You may submit up to four works. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but let us know immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. We require first publishing rights as well as the option to anthologize.

FICTION & CREATIVE NONFICTION

  • Submissions should not exceed 3000 words and cannot be excerpts from novels or larger works.

POETRY

  • Submissions should not exceed six pages.

  • Submissions should be single-spaced.
