PFN – Cosmic Daffodil Journal Seeking Submissions on the Theme of: Horoscopes

October 15, 2024 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

“The magical thing about astrology is you are completely unique — no chart will ever be replicated again.”

Susan Miller

Important Disclaimer: Expand on the Horoscopes: have evidence to support your ideas. Don’t include just one or two facts/tropes/etc without evidence. Define a clear narrative. Create a strong, balanced personality. Notable individuality. Show us a voice we don’t expect to hear. Below are some prompts to get you started. Happy writing!

Writing Prompts:

“The Star-Crossed Pact”: Two people, each from different Zodiac signs, have been fated to meet and form an alliance as indicated by their horoscopes. However, their signs are known for conflicting traits. As they work together on a common goal, they must reconcile their differences and discover how their astrological paths intertwine.

“Horoscope Heist”: A notorious thief is rumored to be using astrology to choose their targets. An ambitious detective, who is a skeptic of horoscopes, is assigned to catch the thief. They must delve into the world of astrology to solve the case, all while grappling with their own beliefs about fate and fortune.

“Horoscope for the Future”: In a world where horoscopes are not just predictions but detailed blueprints of one’s future, a young professional receives a horoscope that hints at a catastrophic event. As they struggle to change their fate, they must confront whether their actions are predetermined or if they can alter their destiny.

“The Horoscope Mystery”: A small-town astrologer predicts a series of unexpected and seemingly unrelated events based on the stars. When a local resident starts experiencing these predictions with eerie accuracy, they embark on a journey to uncover the true connection between their destiny and the astrologer’s forecasts.

“Horoscopes in Your Own Words”: Write about your interpretation of the Zodiacs.
