PFN – Limit Experience Journal Seeking Submissions on the Theme: Sexual Congruency and the Wilds Within
Sexual congruency generally refers to the internal alignment and harmony between a person’s sexual identity, orientation, desires, and outward expression. It’s when someone’s internal sense of their sexuality—how they feel, who they’re attracted to, what they want—is in sync with how they live and express it in the world. It doesn’t necessarily mean conformity to external norms or expectations, but rather a kind of internal coherence, authenticity, and truthfulness to self.
For some, sexual congruency might come naturally; for others, it might require a long process of unlearning shame, navigating societal pressures, or coming to terms with identity.
At its core, sexual congruency is about feeling whole and honest in one’s sexual self which requires yielding to inner truth while navigating the persona we present while engaging in external experience.
We’re interested in reviewing work that is daring yet not overly performative. Honest but willful in its exploration of edges. We look forward to hearing from you.
