PFN – Musing Publications Magazine Seeks Submissions on the Theme: “Bloom and Blossom”
At Musing Publications we aim to uplift voices of writers and artists from all backgrounds. Our main goal is to publish works from underrepresented communities – writers/artists that are women, people of color, disabled and LGBTQ+ identifying.
The theme of our Spring issue is Bloom & Blossom!
About our theme: Spring is a time for the flourish of creativity. A time to breathe new life into the Earth. A time for us to plant our seeds and begin to grow. Through each season of our lives, we blossom; we bloom. The world may shift all around us, tearing up our soil and roots. Yet, through all of it, we grow. We grow upwards – towards the sunlight that nourishes us and gives us the hope of a new Spring. The theme of Bloom & Blossom is all about the resurgence of life, growth, and the creativity we feel as the days start to get longer and our flowers begin to open up again. We want to hear from you what it means to Bloom & Blossom this Spring.
What we’re looking for: We want your poetry, short stories, essays – any medium you choose to express yourself in is welcome! For poetry submissions, please submit up to three poems. Short stories should be 2000 words or less and essays should be 1000 words or less. Fees for all submissions to the magazine are $3.
Our magazine is released quarterly, with the Spring issue set to release in March 2023. We are accepting submissions for this quarter’s magazine from January 15th-February 20th. All contributors accepted to this edition will receive a free copy of the zine once it has been printed.
