PFN – Still Points Arts Quarterly Seeks Submissions. Theme: “Gardening: An Instrument of Grace”

April 1, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The focus of our summer 2022 journal will be:

GARDENING: AN INSTRUMENT OF GRACE

“Everything that slows us down and forces patience, everything that sets us back into the slow circles of nature, is a help. Gardening is an instrument of grace.”
—May Sarton

Still Point Arts Quarterly is now accepting writing submissions (fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, poetry; 5000 words maximum) on the theme GARDENING.
The deadline for writing submissions is April 1, 2022. Accepted work will be published in the summer 2022 issue of Still Point Arts Quarterly. Writers whose work is accepted will be notified sometime in the months of April and May 2022.

General Guidelines and Terms

  1. Please  do not email or call us to ask about the review process or results. We  will email you when we have made a decision regarding your submission.
  2. If  we decide to publish your work, we will send a writing agreement for  your review and signature. Typically we ask for one-time print and digital rights. You may republish your work at any time.
  3. If  we decide to publish your work, we will request a  short biography.
  4. Please know that we typically receive well over 100 poetry submissions, and we accept between 5 and 8. To keep things somewhat orderly, please submit no more than two poems; choose your two best poems for the topic.
