Spring/Summer 2022: At Any Age
Were you sixteen when you arrived in a new country, forty-one when you finally felt comfortable in your own skin? Twelve when you lost your best friend, sixty-seven when you went back to school? How old was your mother, your brother, your lover? For this issue, we seek stories of milestones, large and small. We want to read about the day the training wheels came off the bike, or the day you failed your driving test. The moment you knew you’d marry your wife, or the moment you knew you had to leave your husband. We want to read stories of youth, stories of eldering, stories about you, stories about others, stories combed from memory, stories unfolding now. Life happens at any age. About Multiplicity Magazine and the Submissions We Seek
Multiplicity Literary Magazine publishes two issues annually, one in the fall* and one in the spring. We consider submissions of short-form creative nonfiction (500-1,500 words), long-form creative nonfiction (1,500-5,000 words), poetry, flash nonfiction (up to 500 words) from established and emerging writers. We pay $45 per essay and $15 per poem (up to three).

Style Guidelines for Multiplicity Magazine Submissions
Multiplicity Magazine submissions must be sent in digital format via Submittable. Text submissions should be sent in a file format that can readily be edited on a computer (Microsoft Word is preferred).
Our literary magazine submission process is blind. Please do not include your name or other personally identifying information on any of the pages of your submission or in the file name. Do include a cover letter providing complete, accurate contact information for you.
Nonfiction submissions should be in Times New Roman or a similar serif font, 12 pt, with one-inch margins all around. Please paginate and include the title of the work on each page. All work should be carefully proofread before it is submitted.
Poetry submissions may include up to three poems per issue; stanzas should be single spaced and there should be no more than one poem per page. We welcome poetry in languages other than English if an English version/translation is also provided.
