SUMMARY:PFN - Call for Submissions to The Saltbush Review on the theme: "Land"
DESCRIPTION:The Saltbush Review publishes literary fiction\, poetry\, and creative non-fiction. \nSubmissions are currently open! \nDeadline extended until the 25th February 2022 \nFor our second issue we are seeking submissions of short fiction\, poetry\, creative non-fiction (including essays and life writing) of up to 3\,000 words on the theme of ‘Land.’ Shorter works such as flash fiction are also welcome\, as are works that challenge genre boundaries. \nLand. Earth. Country. Eco-Writing. Nation. Borders. Dispossession. Diaspora.  \nCreative interpretations of the theme are welcome. For a sense of what we publish\, have a look at Issue 1 here: https://saltbushreview.com/issue-1/(link is external) \nSubmissions are open to all\, but we particularly welcome work from South Australian and regional writers\, emerging writers\, First Nations and POC writers\, the LGBTQI+ community\, and writers with a disability. \nPlease send submissions in a Word document using Times New Roman size 12 font and 1.5 line spacing to saltbushreview@gmail.com by the 25th of February 2022. Please also include a 50 word biographical statement. Simultaneous submissions are allowed\, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. \nWe look forward to reading your writing! \nThe Saltbush Review is a digital literary journal founded in 2021 and based on Kaurna land.
