SUMMARY:PFN - Call for Submissions to Young Ravens Literary Review. Theme: "Minutiae"
DESCRIPTION:In Issue 18\, we are exploring the treasure heap of minutiae that enrich our lives. Minutiae may only be small\, precise details\, but far from mere trifles in their impact on who we are and what we truly value as humans. \nIdeas we would love to see explored include: \nWhere do you find minutiae in the natural world that dazzle and inspire your imagination? Crackling leaves\, the loamy smell of Earth after rain\, frost stars on glass? \nWhat simple little act\, thing\, or moment brings you gladness every day despite all the mundanities and absurdities of life? A familiar routine like a warm drink to greet the morning\, donning your favorite cozy\, threadbare sweater\, or a day with a precious loved one now tucked and folded away in the past? \nWho are the people\, and chance meetings\, that have changed your life? \nHow do minutiae reflect and embody the measure of our own existence? \nIf you could keep only a sixty second slice or memory of your existence\, what would it be\, and why? \nWe accept fiction\, nonfiction\, visual art\, and poetry of all flavors\, from free verse to found. We are also interested in submissions that include raven artwork. \nSubmissions will be accepted until June 15th\, 2023.
