SUMMARY:P - Green Ink Poetry Seeking Submissions on the Theme: Nature in All its Glory
DESCRIPTION:MAY\n1\nTO JUN 9\n\n\n\n\nGreen Ink Summer Solstice: Celebrations 2024\n\nIn our second annual Summer digital collection\, we are looking for beautiful works exploring nature in all its glory! We are particularly looking for work exploring the beauty and wonder of nature\, celebrating summer\, or natural things that you have an intimate connection to. As always\, we’ll be selecting work based on how closely it fits these themes! \nSubmission Details\n\n\nLength Limits: We cannot accept poems that are longer than an A4 page. \n\n\nFormat Limits: Blocks – Unfortunately\, neither our print or digital publications are able to properly display poems formatted as a block. \n\n\nMax Number of Poems: 3 – Whilst we love reading all of the work sent to us\, we’ve found that a hard limit on the number of poems sent per submission means we’re better able to give everyone the time and consideration they deserve. This means that any extra poems sent to us will be disregarded. \n\n\nCredit: Please include a short third-person bio in your submission\, including any personal social media handles or other links you would like to have listed. Previously published poems will be considered for inclusion\, but must come with full attribution. \n\n\nContent Exclusions: Work of an overtly sexual nature\, or that promotes any form of hatred\, racism\, sexism\, or other expressions of intolerance will not be considered. \n\n\nWhere To Send Submissions: Submit your work by emailing us at editors@greeninkpoetry.co.uk – Please ensure that the email subject line includes “Summer Solstice”. \n\n\nSubmission Format: Please send your submissions formatted as a word document or PDF attached to an email\, or in the body of the email itself. \n\n\nOther Information\nWe will be publishing your submissions online\, so please do not submit your work unless you are happy for us to use this medium. This will require non-exclusive\, limited rights to publish your work and hold archival copies – all other rights remain with you\, and you will be fully credited. \nWe will do our best to preserve any formatting you include in your submission in the digital edition\, but there may be minor changes due to differences in format between your submission and our working document – we will take all possible steps to ensure your desired format is preserved. \nIf you need modifications to be made to your poem after it has been accepted\, or for a poem to be removed\, please contact us as soon as possible via editors@greeninkpoetry.co.uk and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. \nIf you have any questions about our submission requirements\, or any other part of Green Ink Poetry and our digital or print collections\, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
