The name Superpresent conveys multiple meanings. It could be something very much in the here and now, or something beyond the present state of being or thinking, or something surreal, or it could simply be a great and wonderful gift.
Ghosts, wraiths, specters. Poltergeists, phantoms, shades. They manifest in many shapes and dispositions in our lives and the literatures of all cultures. Sometimes a ghostly haunting is metaphoric; often it is literal.
Misfortune is a universal human experience that can sometimes shape our lives in important ways. We invite you to craft work that explores adversity, setbacks, personal tragedies, unexpected challenges, and the resilience of humans.
You may be inspired to create work based on the literal or metaphorical meanings of dance. You might be inspired by a favorite dancer, their moves, their life, or their words. Let your imagination dance.
Our summer anthology focuses on themes of nostaliga and memory, and the things that connect us across time, space and history. We want your summertime vacation memories. a first kiss at sunset. the existential musings as you stare up at a midsummer meteor shower.
In our second annual Summer digital collection, we are looking for beautiful works exploring nature in all its glory! We are particularly looking for work exploring the beauty and wonder of nature, celebrating summer, or natural things that you have an intimate connection to.

GeneralStories Through The Ages - Baby Boomers Plus 2024 is open to people born 1966 or earlier. There is no prompt for the contest. Authors may write about any topic.
