After a little bit of break,\u00a0Prachya Review<\/em>\u00a0is coming back, and we are now open to receiving your submissions of short stories and poems. Our chosen theme for the comeback: Eye of the Tiger.
\nLife often offers us both: beauty and terror. Sometimes we let ourselves be open to it all, and sometimes we are caught off guard. But we recover, take a step back and fight back. Not just to survive, but to live, to\u00a0feel alive<\/em>.\u00a0Prachya Review<\/em>, too, took a step back, took time away to restore and refocus. And now we return. We come back with a new website, a new logo, and a greater passion to serve the literary world through our magazine. In retrospect, while we felt the brunt of burnout, we realise that the world also suffered.
\nGlobally we have faced a pandemic that took loved ones before their time and altered the course of our lives. Some of us have lost our jobs, or had opportunities slip out of our hands. Some of us have suffered mentally from anxiety and depression. The journey has been painful and hard. But we have also risen above the rubbles of mayhem. Often stronger, often more courageous.
\nAnd this is where we come back to our theme. Where is the Eye of the Tiger in you? What does the phrase remind you of?\u00a0Rocky<\/em>, or Katy Perry? Or do you have your own unique relationship to it?
\nSubmit your stories and essays, poems and artworks, and tell us how you have survived in the midst of tragedy and boundless chaos. Tell us how you have changed in the past year, and how the world has changed you.
