The theme for this volume is &#8220;Purgatory&#8221;. We are looking for pieces of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that portray the writer&#8217;s interpretation of purgatory.<\/p>\n<p data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\"><strong>Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">Max story length is between 500 and 5,000 words.<\/li>\n<li data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">You may submit up to two pieces at any given time, as long as their combined word count is 5,000 or less.<\/li>\n<li data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">Maximum submission of 10 poems.<\/li>\n<li data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">Previously unpublished (previous publication on the author&#8217;s Internet platform is acceptable) short stories.<\/li>\n<li data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">Since we are going to prioritize local contributors for this book, please let us know if you identify as a resident of Canada\/Turtle Island or if you are an international contributor.<\/li>\n<li data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please inform us if your piece is accepted elsewhere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">Stories selected for the anthology will be offered a contract for publication. The anthology will be professionally edited and produced. The eBook and paperback will be internationally distributed. Prime Press will promote the collection through social media.<\/p>\n<p data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\"><strong>Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-open-accessibility-text-original=\"16px\">Unfortunately, due to the lack of funds we have as a publisher, we will not be offering monetary compensation for entries within the book.
