Submissions<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/b>\u00a0Previously published pieces are welcome, provided that the submission fits the theme and that the author owns the copyright.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

The premise (target theme) must be an integral part of the plot, not necessarily the central theme but not merely incidental.\u00a0NOTE: Stories longer than 20 double-spaced typewritten pages will not be considered.<\/b>\u00a0Indicate premise (target theme) on title page.\u00a0Be sure to Indicate target theme in cover letter or on first page of manuscript.<\/i><\/span><\/b>\u00a0Include self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) with each submission. Rejected manuscripts unaccompanied by an SASE will not be returned. Response time: 3 months after premise deadline.\u00a0\u00a0NO READER’S FEE.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

On acceptance for publication, we will pay the following amount: short story, $25; short-short piece (up to 1000 words), $10; poem<\/span> $10.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike many publishers, we prefer works submitted by the authors themselves, without the involvement of an agent.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Be sure to indicate premise and include SASE for each submission.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>BE SURE to include a\u00a0separate<\/strong>\u00a0SASE for\u00a0each\u00a0<\/strong>premise.<\/em><\/p>\n

No handwritten manuscripts will be considered.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We do not accept e-mailed submissions EXCEPT from authors who live outside the U.S.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

For those living outside the U.S., submit manuscript as an email attachment (readable by MSWord\u00a0\u2015\u00a0either as a DOC file or an RTF file), and include the following information on the title page:\u00a0target theme, title of work, name of author, email address and physical address.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
