Our competition is for unpublished complete short fiction of up to 300 words.<\/p>\n

Prizes<\/h4>\n

The winner will receive \u00a3500.<\/p>\n

Three additional finalists will each receive \u00a350.<\/p>\n

The winning entry and three finalists will be published in the December 2023 edition of\u00a0Mslexia.<\/em><\/p>\n

The winning entry, three finalists and eight additional shortlisted stories will also appear in Mslexia\u2019s ebook anthology,\u00a0Best Women\u2019s Short Fiction 2023<\/em>, which will be published in December 2023.<\/p>\n

Results<\/h4>\n

Entrants will be notified of the outcome of their entry in November 2023.<\/p>\n

The winning entry and three finalists will be published in the December 2023 edition of\u00a0Mslexia<\/em>.<\/p>\n

How to Enter<\/h4>\n

Add the entry fee to your basket and proceed through the checkout (you will be asked to set up, or sign in to your Mslexia account during the process). Once the order is completed you’ll be taken to a ‘Submit’ page where the entry form is located. You can submit at a later date by logging into your Mslexia online account and going to the ‘competitions’ tab.<\/p>\n
