We want to see them represented more, both in the real world and in fiction, so we publish essays, short stories and poetry.\u00a0 All of our articles and stories are selected to help us deepen our faiths and practices, and we are always open to hearing about ways we can improve the publication.<\/p>\n<p><strong>August: The Moon<\/strong>\u00a0(deadline 15 July 2023)<br \/>\nEv0king the Question: What is your favorite myth, folktale, or fairy tale featuring the moon, and why?<\/p>\n<p>Contributors to\u00a0<strong>ev0ke<\/strong>\u00a0receive an honorarium of $5 and a free one year subscription to\u00a0<strong>ev0ke<\/strong>. We hope to increase that payment in the future. If you would like to submit something for our consideration please reach out to us at ev0kepublication@gmail.com.<\/p>\n<p>Please note:\u00a0<strong>ev0ke<\/strong> is open to rolling submissions from the first to the fifteenth (1-15) of each month. Please consider submitting close to the deadline, as submissions sent months in advance might get lost.\u00a0 At this time, <strong>ev0ke<\/strong>\u00a0is\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0accepting AI generated submissions. All submissions must be solely the creation of the contributor\/s.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that we are firmly against racism, sexism, ageism, and ableism, and strongly believe that witchcraft and Paganism should be available to everyone. There\u2019s no place here for those who want to talk about how only certain traditions are \u201creal witches\u201d or \u201creal Pagans,\u201d or shame the way others connect with their gods.
