For our Jan 2024 issue, the theme is CORRESPONDENCES.<\/p>\n
We want work in the form of letters (or emails, texts, other exchanges). Self-correspondences are great too (notes, journals, diaries, etc.).<\/p>\n
We’d consider some interviews–with writers or non-writers.<\/p>\n
We like the idea of book-review-as-correspondence, if that book review is done with a certain degree of self-reflexivity. We also like essays about essays.<\/p>\n
Work that blends or braids or threads any of these forms into a larger essay or poem (or whatever) are totally welcome. Encouraged, even.<\/p>\n
Basically, if you wrote something that seems in some way like a correspondence, we’d like to see it.<\/p>\n
Please send one piece up to 4,000-ish words.<\/p>\n
Collaborations welcome (also encouraged).<\/p>\n
