Submission Guidelines<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We accept poetry, prose, and spoken word.<\/strong> We will offer $25 per published piece of work for this first volume.<\/p>\n

Submissions for our inaugural issue are open through December 1, 2023 (11:59 pm PST). Big Wing Review <\/em>will notify applicants on a rolling basis through December 10.<\/p>\n

Language \/ Format Requirements: <\/strong>All submissions must be in English and must be previously unpublished. A written transcript must accompany spoken word recordings. Translations are welcome and should be accompanied by a copy of the original.<\/p>\n

Simultaneous Submissions: <\/strong>Simultaneous submissions are allowed, as long as we are notified if the piece is accepted for publication elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Submission Limits: <\/strong>Please submit no more than six poems, one piece of prose (less than 1,000 words preferred), or one spoken word piece.<\/p>\n

Revisions: <\/strong>Please do not send revisions. We will publish all content as received, so please review copy carefully prior to submission.<\/p>\n

Withdrawing Submissions: <\/strong>If you wish to withdraw a single piece or your entire submission, please write to submissions@bigwingreview.com with the subject \u201cWithdraw\u201d and include your name and piece title.<\/p>\n

Copyright:<\/strong> Big Wing Review<\/em> holds first serial rights for material that we publish (see here<\/a> for info on what this means). The copyright automatically reverts to the author upon publication. All work may be permanently archived online. We ask that Big Wing Review<\/em> be acknowledged in any subsequent publication of the work.<\/p>\n
