Coffee, Tea, Cocoa | Journal Submission | Spring 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

All over the globe, well-established traditions have developed around the personal and social enjoyment of drinking these soothing, satisfying, and borderline addictive beverages.<\/p>\n

Still Point Arts Quarterly<\/em><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is accepting writing submissions (fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, poetry; 5000 words maximum) on the theme\u00a0Coffee, Tea, Cocoa<\/strong>. The deadline for writing submissions is January 1, 2024. Accepted work will be published in the spring 2024 issue of\u00a0Still Point Arts Quarterly<\/em><\/a><\/strong>. Writers will be notified no later than February 15, 2024.<\/p>\n

February 15, 2024 (or earlier) – Notification of Writers<\/p>\n

March 1, 2024 –\u00a0Still Point Arts Quarterly<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Spring Issue Released<\/p>\n

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND POLICIES<\/p>\n

  1. Please do not email or call us to ask about the review process or results. We will email you when we have made a decision regarding your submission.<\/li>\n
  2. If we decide to publish your work, we will send a writing agreement for your review and signature. Typically we ask for one-time print and digital rights. You may republish your work at any time.<\/li>\n
  3. Please know that we typically receive well over 100 poetry submissions, and we accept between 5 and 8. To keep things somewhat orderly, we limit all writing submissions to one piece per person.<\/li>\n
  4. We do accept reprints.<\/li>\n
  5. If we have published your work previously, we have no waiting period for submitting work again. We’ll gladly accept good writing whenever we receive it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
