What we\u2019re looking for:<\/span><\/p>\n

Unpublished*<\/span>\u00a0original<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0creations<\/strong>\u00a0– We\u00a0<\/span>do not<\/u>\u00a0accept previously published work (written or visual), nor do we accept anything posted publicly online (including on personal sites & social media).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

*\u00a0<\/span>We will, however consider<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>o<\/span><\/span>rphaned stories (previously published in now defunct magazines) as long as they have not been printed (on paper) and are no longer available online, but please mention it on the form.<\/span>
\n\u200b<\/span><\/span>
\nOnce we accept a piece, if we come across it elsewhere prior to publication (online\/magazine\/anthology), it will be removed from our issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your work can be in any\u00a0<\/span>genre<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>(e.g. noir, epistolary, humour, etc.) and any\u00a0<\/span>form<\/span>\u00a0(including hybrid & comics) as long as it is emotional and raw.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n

  • Flash<\/strong>\u00a0– up to\u00a0500<\/strong>\u00a0words<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Short\u00a0<\/strong>– up to\u00a020<\/strong>00<\/strong>\u00a0words<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Formatting:\u00a0<\/strong>Times New Roman – size 12 – double spaced<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Poetry:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Up to\u00a03\u00a0poems at a max of 6 pages.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Formatting:\u00a0<\/strong>Times New Roman – size 12 – single spaced<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Submission Guidelines:<\/span><\/p>\n

      • We use Google Forms for submissions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • No cover letter is required.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Author Biographies should be 50 words or less.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Available options: remain anonymous, use a pseudonym, and dedicate your work.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Websites & social media tags will be\u00a0used\u00a0for promotion and the links added on our site.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Multiple Submissions & Simultaneous Submissions:<\/span><\/p>\n

        • Multiple Submissions:<\/strong>\u00a0You can submit up to\u00a03<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>pieces in different categories\u00a0(for example, you could send 1 flash piece, 1 short, and 1 poetry submission).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Simultaneous submissions\u00a0are fine, but be sure to let us know as soon as possible if your work is accepted elsewhere. We\u2019re happy to see you published, even if it isn\u2019t with us.<\/span><\/li>\n
