Secret Menu is the ways we treat ourselves, celebrate small victories, sharing with one another when we don\u2019t have to.<\/p>\n

Secret Menu is the nod in the hallway to you work bestie as you pass like drones in the night.<\/p>\n

Secret Menu is a topside, underground resistance.<\/p>\n

Secret Menu is the exhalation of relief after the longest shift of your goddamn life.<\/p>\n

Secret Menu is the dish you bring to the cookout that no one can resist.<\/p>\n

Secret Menu is your codename\/alias\/identity.<\/p>\n

Secret Menu is your lover\u2019s embrace in the shadow of oppression.<\/p>\n

Payments:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

MIDLVLMAG is volunteer run and free-to-read. Because of this, we are not currently in a position to pay contributors.<\/p>\n

\nOur long-term goal is to generate payment funds through donations\/patronage, merch sales, and potential physical copies of issues (tbd).<\/p>\n

MIDLVLMAG publishes short and flash fiction, poetry, prose, creative non-fiction (CNF), and essays.<\/p>\n

And please also include any social media accounts and\/or links to your website that you feel comfortable sharing where others can find you and your writing.<\/p>\n

Suggested Word Counts<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Poetry: Send up to three poems at a time. No word count limits.<\/p>\n

Short Fiction \/ Essays \/ CNF: 1500-3500 words.<\/p>\n
