Which catastrophic failures will we see in the next 100 years? And how will it affect ordinary citizens of the world?<\/p>\n

Konsensus Network seeks fiction submissions (up to 3,000 words) for its forthcoming anthology 21 Futures: Financial Fallout. The 21 best stories will feature in the anthology and will be eligible to win the following prizes:<\/p>\n

  • 1st place:<\/strong>\u00a0$1,000 + feature interview<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 2nd place:<\/strong>\u00a0$500 + podcast appearance<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 3rd place:<\/strong>\u00a0$250 + social media shoutout<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 4th place:<\/strong>\u00a0$100 + signed book<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    • Stories with a clear beginning, middle, and end<\/li>\n
    • Stories which include diverse and realistic characters we can root for<\/li>\n
    • Stories with a unique angle on dystopia. Be creative and think outside the locations and tropes of typical sci-fi.<\/li>\n
    • Stories which make us care. Stories with love, loss, joy, pain, and everything in between.<\/li>\n
    • Stories which offer some kind of hope for the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

      What we\u00a0DON’T<\/span>\u00a0want:<\/h2>\n

      • Stories with unnecessary violence unconnected to the plot<\/li>\n
      • Nationalism, hate speech, erotica<\/li>\n
      • The promotion of centralized alt coins or \u2018cryptocurrency\u2019<\/li>\n
      • Manifestos on ways of life<\/li>\n
      • Poetry or excerpts from novels<\/li>\n
      • Satoshi Nakamoto origin stories<\/li>\n
      • Stories based entirely on real-life events using real-life characters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
