The Absent Bassoonist Music Folio\u00a04<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

The Absent Bassoonist<\/strong>\u00a0is the 4th in Pure Slush\u2019s\u00a0Music<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0series.\"\"<\/p>\n

Here is the set-up for the anthology \u2026<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Quonsettville Community Orchestra<\/strong>\u00a0is set to open the newly-rebuilt LaChute Cultural Center with a sparkling concert.<\/p>\n

The concert on Saturday 18th June 2023, will include the first public performance in 68 years of Dudley Donegal O\u2019Day\u2019s magnificent (and very underrated)\u00a0Triple Bassoon Concerto<\/strong>\u00a0(transcribed for two bassoons).<\/p>\n

But on the night of the concert, First Bassoonist\u00a0Solomon Schweitzer<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0never arrives.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

We want to know what\u00a0Solomon<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is doing instead of showing up to perform.<\/p>\n
