Your Poems<\/h4>\n

This competition is open to unpublished poems of any length, on any subject. Your \u00a310 entry fee allows you to submit up to three poems.<\/p>\n

Prizes<\/h4>\n

1st: \u00a32,000; 2nd: \u00a3500; 3rd: \u00a3250<\/p>\n

Unpublished Poet Prize*<\/strong>\u00a0is an additional award for the best unpublished poem by an unpublished poet: \u00a3250.<\/p>\n

The four winners, plus sixteen additional finalists will have their poems published in the March 2025 issue of\u00a0Mslexia<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/h4>\n

The deadline for all entries is 23.59GMT, 9 December 2024.<\/p>\n

Results<\/h4>\n

Entrants will be notified of the outcome of their entry in February 2025.<\/p>\n

The winner and finalists will be announced on 1 March 2025.<\/p>\n

How to Enter<\/h4>\n

Add the entry fee to your basket and proceed through the checkout (you will be asked to set up, or sign in to you Mslexia account during the process). Once the order is completed you’ll be taken to a ‘Submit’ page where the entry form is located. You can submit at a later date by logging into your Mslexia online account and going to the ‘competitions’ tab.<\/p>\n

*If you are an\u00a0Unpublished Poet<\/strong>\u00a0(i.e. you’ve never had a poem selected for publication, in print or online, by an editorial selection process) then you can enter our\u00a0Unpublished Poet Prize<\/strong>. This is an additional prize awarded to poets who have yet to have their work published. Simply tick the box on the entry form when uploading your poems or, if submitting by post, mark your entry with a U, and your work will be entered into the award.<\/p>\n
