NOVEMBER: Fall Feasts<\/strong><\/p>\n

This fall season,\u00a0Boudin\u00a0<\/em>is looking for your tastiest CNF, poetry, and hybrid work inspired by your favorite tales of friends, family, food, and festivities. We want a delectable arrangement of food experiences: preparing turkeys and hams, arguments with finicky family members over dinner, eating at TV trays and in fast food parking lots, snacking with friends you\u2019re grateful for.\u00a0Send us your most scrumptious, foodie fiction, CNF, poetry, and microfiction.<\/p>\n

Email your work to boudin@mcneese.edu by\u00a0November 10th, 2024<\/strong>. No fee! Aim to keep the fiction\/CNF under 5,000 or so words. You may submit up to three poems\/microfictions (under 500 words).<\/p>\n

No material published in\u00a0Boudin<\/em>\u00a0may be reprinted or reproduced, in whole or in part, without the permission of the authors. Writers retain all rights to their work. We ask for ourselves only that\u00a0Boudin<\/em>\u00a0be credited with first publication. Unfortunately, we are not a paying market; contributors to\u00a0Boudin<\/em>\u00a0will receive our thanks and the promise that we\u2019ll promote your work.<\/p>\n

We encourage you to simultaneously submit your work while it\u2019s under consideration at\u00a0Boudin<\/em>. If your submission is accepted by another publication, please email\u00a0boudin@mcneese.edu<\/a>\u00a0to withdraw your work.<\/p>\n

Please only submit original work. If your work borrows from or quotes another writer, please make explicit mention of this with your submission, giving full attribution to any material you\u2019re using from another source.<\/p>\n

Please limit your submissions to four per calendar year.<\/p>\n

In all genres, we are particularly interested in seeing work from women, people of color, LGBTQ writers, non-binary writers, people with disabilities, and other underrepresented groups.<\/p>\n
