It is about what is consumed, how things are consumed and whether the sense of satisfaction derived from satiating hunger can give way to addiction and greed.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Hunger is also about a sense of yearning, a strong wish or desire to achieve or want something. It can be a positive feeling, something that is praised and valued in an individual, but it is also something that can become all consuming, a hunger which takes precedence over everything else.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">What does Hunger mean to you?<\/span><br class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\" \/><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">We are open for submissions of poetry, short stories and short essays. Please submit your work in an attachment to the email as a MS Word Document. Please accompany your submission with a short bio of no more than 100 words telling us a little bit about yourself, the motivation behind your work and how it aligns to the theme. This can be attached as a separate MS Word Document or within the text of the email.
