Simultaneous submissions are accepted. If your work is accepted elsewhere, please email us to withdraw (and so we can offer our congratulations!)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All work must be your own. Pieces created created wholly or in part by A.I. are not accepted.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We do not accept work glorifying bigotry or discrimination in any form.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All written work must be in English.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We do not accept previously published pieces.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You may submit across multiple categories, but please only once each per submission call.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We ask for first publishing rights if we accept your work. All rights revert back to you, the author\/artist, upon publication. If you go on to publish the piece elsewhere, please credit Viridine Literary as the first publisher.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1-2 pieces, up to a total of 2000 words. No minimum.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

12pt. Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, standard literary layout with indented paragraphs, file format .doc or .docx, all pieces within a single document.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Poetry<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

1-3 pieces, up to 40 lines each. No minimum.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

12pt. Times New Roman, no restrictions on spacing or layout, file format .doc or .docx, all pieces within a single document.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Essays<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

1-3 pieces, 500-1000 words.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

12pt, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, file format .doc or .docx, each piece submitted as a separate document.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We are only seeking essays on film and theatre theory, including work relating to: directors; actors; writers; cinematographers; production design; set design; theatre lighting; and scores\/composers. We are\u00a0not\u00a0looking for film\/play reviews.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
