If it&#8217;s weird, if it&#8217;s nostalgic, if it&#8217;s urgent\u2014we want to read it.\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\n<li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\n<h5 class=\"font_5 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\u200bUp to 3,000 words in a singular submission\u00a0or\u00a03 pieces of flash fiction (under 1,000 words).\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\n<h5 class=\"font_5 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Nonfiction: we accept creative nonfiction and cultural commentary\/criticism (up to 3,000 words)<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\n<li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\n<h5 class=\"font_5 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\u200bWe will not accept submissions of interviews, book reviews, academic papers, or personal narratives that do not address a wider scope at this moment\u200b\u200b<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\n<h5 class=\"font_5 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Queries\/pitches are encouraged but not necessary prior to submitting<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\n<h5 class=\"font_5 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Poetry: up to 3 poems in a single submission.
