Submission Guidelines<\/span><\/h1>\n

NO identification of any form should appear on your entry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The staff judges anonymously, so please refrain from including your name on submissions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Submissions must be previously unpublished. This includes Internet publications such as Facebook or personal websites and blogs.<\/span><\/p>\n

**Send one submission per email. Do not attach multiple files to your email or multiple submissions in one file.**<\/span><\/p>\n

Subject:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The subject headline of the email should say \u201cEye Contact Submission\u201d followed by the category of your work (e.g.: \u201cEye Contact Submission: Poetry\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n

File:<\/span>\u00a0 The file of the submission should be named what the title of the piece is.\u00a0<\/span>We do not accept untitled files.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Flash Fiction and Creative Nonfiction<\/span><\/h3>\n

    You may submit\u00a0<\/span>2 stories<\/span>, limited to\u00a0<\/span>a maximum of 1500 words<\/span>\u00a0per piece. (Please note that pieces under 1000 words have a better chance of publication.)<\/span><\/p>\n

    Submissions must be typed and\u00a0<\/span>double-spaced.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Have the title in the upper right corner of each page with page numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n
