But home is often a bittersweet memory for those who have been forced to leave. For our May issue, Boudin is looking for poetry, CNF, and fiction about displacement with a focus on immigration. We&#8217;re particularly interested in the visceral emotions that come with the rediscovery, recollection, or loss of home.<\/p>\n<p>No fee! Aim to keep the fiction\/CNF\/hybrids under 5,000 or so words. You may submit up to three poems\/microfictions (under 500 words).<\/p>\n<p>No material published in\u00a0<a class=\"link-color sbm-text link accessible-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mcneese.edu\/thereview\/welcome-to-boudin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Boudin<\/em><\/a>\u00a0may be reprinted or reproduced, in whole or in part, without the permission of the authors. Writers retain all rights to their work. We ask only that\u00a0<em>Boudin<\/em>\u00a0be credited with first publication. Unfortunately, we are not a paying market; contributors to\u00a0<em>Boudin<\/em>\u00a0will receive our thanks and the promise that we\u2019ll promote your work.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage you to simultaneously submit your work while it\u2019s under consideration at\u00a0<em>Boudin<\/em>.
