We\u2019ll publish the best piece in our newsletter and on our blog \u2013 plus the winner receives NZ $200 (R2 000 or \u00a3100).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>COMPETITION RULES:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Send in your entry in the body of the email, not as an attachment.<\/li>\n<li>Use the subject line \u2018My Writing Journey Competition\u2019 in your email.<\/li>\n<li>Entries must be no more than 600 words and must be the author\u2019s original work.<\/li>\n<li>Entry is free.<\/li>\n<li>The competition is open to anyone aged 16 and over.<\/li>\n<li>All submissions and enquiries can be sent to Nichola:\u00a0\u00a0<strong>nichola@nzwriterscollege.co.nz<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The competition is open to any writer living anywhere in the world.<\/li>\n<li>Only one essay per entrant is allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Prizewinners will be notified via email as well as on our website; please ensure you supply a valid email address with your entry.<\/li>\n<li>Writers retain full copyright over their work.<\/li>\n<li>The judges\u2019 decision is final; no disputes will be entered into.<\/li>\n<li>If your entry has not been acknowledged within three working days, please contact us as your email may have got lost in transit.<\/li>\n<li>Absolutely no generative AI to be used (ChatGPT etc.).
