We look out for poetry that makes us feel. Poems that are human and can breathe. We are moved by poetry that breaks conventions and employs new technique or style.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Poems should be uploaded as doc\/docx files (we do not accept PDF). All Poems submitted must be previously unpublished on any platform.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Begin every new poem on a new page. Pages must not exceed 5.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Send along a cover letter and a short bio of 100 words, with your social media handles.<\/h5>\n<div>\n<hr class=\"styled-hr\" \/>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">Send your submissions to\u00a0<u><strong>thestripesmag@yahoo.com<\/strong><\/u><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>with Subject:\u00a0<strong>Submission\/Genre<\/strong><br \/>\n\u200bEg: Submission\/Poetry<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<hr class=\"styled-hr\" \/>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wsite-content-title\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\">Response<\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">We respond to submissions between 2-3 weeks. Send a notice if your submissions does not receive a response after that period.<\/p>\n<p>We try to offer feedback whenever possible but it is not as often as we like.
