class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>An anthology about capturing a slice of people\u2019s lives.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In this first-ever anthology,\u00a0<em>Capture This<\/em>\u00a0will take a look at a snapshot of someone\u2019s life, whether it\u2019s the daily routine of an accountant, the ignition of a love story between two paranormal beings, the first day as an intergalaxy spy named Phoebe, or the day a life changed for the better\u2013or worse.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Compensation<\/h2>\n<p>All contributors will receive a complimentary digital PDF of the completed anthology.\u00a0 Additionally, you will receive a list of interview questions regarding your accepted piece(s) and writing career, which will be published on the Linton Press website.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rights<\/h2>\n<p>By submitting to\u00a0<em>Capture This<\/em>, you agree to the following terms:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are requesting First Publication Rights for\u00a0<em>Capture This<\/em>, which means we will be the first to publish your piece.\u00a0 That said, copyright will remain with the author, and you retain full rights after publication.<\/li>\n<li>Additionally, there is no exclusivity period following the publication of\u00a0<em>Capture This<\/em>, meaning that the author can republish or reprint the accepted piece any time after the initial appearance in this anthology.<\/li>\n<li>If your work is accepted, you grant us the non-exclusive right to include it in the anthology,\u00a0<em>Capture This<\/em>, which will be\u00a0<strong>commercially distributed and sold<\/strong>\u00a0in paperback and eBook formats through various vendors, such as Amazon and Indigo.\u00a0 That said, any further use in other formats or media, such as promotional materials, requires separate permission.<\/li>\n<li>Subsequent publications in collections, magazines, anthologies, etc., must acknowledge their first appearance in the\u00a0<em>Capture This<\/em>\u00a0anthology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Guidelines<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please send your submissions to\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"mailto:publisher@lintonpress.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publisher@lintonpress.ca<\/a>\u00a0with the email subject heading being [Artist\u2019s Name], [Category]\u2019s Submission.\u00a0 For example, \u201cLinton Press, Poetry Submission.\u201d\u00a0 For multiple submissions, please have them in individual Word documents in the same email.<\/li>\n<li>In the email, the submitter must include a bio of no more than 100 words, and it must be how they would like to see it in the anthology.\u00a0 Additionally, the submitter must include their name or pseudonym with their work.<\/li>\n<li>We are not seeking simultaneous submissions.\u00a0 If someplace else is considering your piece(s), we will not consider them.<\/li>\n<li>All submissions must be in 12-point font.<\/li>\n<li>Submissions must also be formatted as you would like to see them in the anthology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submissions that do not follow the guidelines will not be considered.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Poetry<\/h2>\n<p><em>Capture This<\/em>\u00a0accepts\u00a0<strong>unpublished\u00a0<\/strong>works in English, including translations into English.\u00a0 We also consider prose poetry in this category.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Submissions must not exceed a total of five (5) poems or a total of 1,500 words.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Each poetry piece must be in an individual Word document, and the document itself must be titled \u201cAuthor\u2019s name, Title of Work.\u201d\u00a0 For example, \u201cLinton Press, Hope Is Not Lost.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>We are\u00a0<strong>not\u00a0<\/strong>accepting concrete\/visual poems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Short Story<\/h2>\n<p><em>Capture This<\/em>\u00a0accepts\u00a0<strong>unpublished\u00a0<\/strong>works in English, including translations into English.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The submission must not exceed one (1) short story not exceeding 5,000 words.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The short story must be in a Word document, and the document itself must be titled \u201cAuthor\u2019s name, Title of Work.\u201d\u00a0 For example, \u201cLinton Press, Hope Is Not Lost.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creative NonFiction<\/h2>\n<p><em>Capture This<\/em>\u00a0accepts\u00a0<strong>unpublished\u00a0<\/strong>works in English, including translations into English.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The submission must not exceed one (1) prose piece not exceeding 5,000 words.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The creative nonfiction piece must be in a Word document, and the document itself must be titled \u201cAuthor\u2019s name, Title of Work.\u201d\u00a0 For example, \u201cLinton Press, Hope Is Not Lost.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Submitting to\u00a0<\/strong><strong><em>Capture This<\/em><\/strong><strong>\u00a0is your
