S<\/span>tep over the edge and into the wilderness of\u00a0Feral Lines<\/i>, an upcoming flash fiction collection from\u00a0The Ecological Citizen<\/i>. In these untamed reveries, wolves roam free through expansive forests, renewing rivers in their wake. Little green fingers transform into fists, shattering concrete. Fences fall, hedgerows billow, and dams crumble. The land earns respite from the relentless grazing of industrial agriculture, as wild herbivores regain their foothold. And humanity finally finds peace in the healing of planetary\u00a0wounds.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0plot-driven narratives\u00a0as lush and dynamic as the habitats they evoke,\u00a0Feral Lines<\/i>\u00a0is an invitation to hear the call of the Earth unshackled from human\u00a0dominion.<\/p>\n

Submit your most inspiring and powerful tales of nature’s rebounding in no more than 500\u00a0words (including the title) by 30\u00a0September 2025. Accepted stories will be published in February 2026 (within Vol\u00a09 No\u00a01 of\u00a0The Ecological Citizen<\/i>).<\/p>\n

Important notes:\u00a0We are seeking previously unpublished writing. There are no submission fees; but, sadly, we do not have any funds to pay for accepted\u00a0stories.<\/p>\n
