about roses and thorns.<br \/>\nThere are other ways too.<br \/>\nSometimes it comes with guns blazing.<br \/>\nAt other times, silently, without calling attention.<br \/>\nYou can also write about roses and thorns.<\/p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family\">Entry fee: \u00a34 for 1 poem, \u00a36 for 2, or \u00a37 for 3.<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family\">Please submit up to three poems in a single document.<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family\">Submissions are open to all poets writing in English.<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family\">Poems must be previously unpublished.<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family\">Strong language is fine \u2013 abusive or discriminatory language is not.<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family\">Simultaneous submissions are welcome \u2013 just let us know promptly through the submissions manager if you need to withdraw any of your poems.<\/li>\n<li class=\"has-source-serif-pro-font-family\">Poems up to 40 lines \u2013 including spaces \u2013 will be considered (we consider longer poems
