This Halloween, we invite you to journey into\u00a0Nocturnia<\/strong> \u2014 a world caught between shadow and moonlight, where reality bends, the strange feels familiar, and the familiar turns strange. We\u2019re looking for pieces that embody the spirit of\u00a0Nocturnia<\/em>: eerie, elegant, unsettling, or uncanny. This is not just horror \u2014 it\u2019s the haunting echo in a quiet room, the bittersweet memory that resurfaces at midnight, the beauty in the grotesque.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0All works, whether unveiling life\u2019s hidden truths, exploring personal mysteries, or celebrating beauty in unexpected places, should feel as though they\u00a0exist within the world of\u00a0Nocturnia<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0Whether your piece is tragic or joyful, vibrant or grim, it should carry the\u00a0essence of Nocturnia<\/strong>:\u00a0haunting, surreal, introspective, and touched by the strange.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Submission Limit for This Special Edition<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As\u00a0Nocturnia<\/em>\u00a0is a curated Halloween special, we will be accepting a\u00a0maximum of 30 written pieces (poetry and prose combined)<\/strong>,\u00a02 Essays<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0only 5 Short Stories<\/strong>. We encourage you to send your most striking, immersive work.<\/p>\n

Compilation Format for an MS-Word Document<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n

  • A clear, concise, third-person bio in 50 words or less.<\/li>\n
  • Clear titles for poems and prose. The magazine theme as a title is not acceptable.<\/li>\n
  • Your poems, prose, or stories that you want to send for publication.<\/li>\n
  • Social media information for your primary Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter accounts, as well as your primary poetry, photography, or art website\u00a0No Discord, TikTok, Wattpad, Pinterest, YouTube, Inkitt, Emails or any other profiles will be accepted.<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Compile everything except for photos, if any, into one Microsoft Word with the.doc or .docx extension<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
