Fees for these submissions are waived.<\/p>\n<p>\u200d<\/p>\n<p>To see if your work is a good fit, take a look at the recent work we\u2019ve published in print and on our website. The best place to learn about whether or not we are open for submissions is on our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/colalitreview\"><strong><em>Twitter<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/colalitreview\"><strong><em>Instagram<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u200d<\/p>\n<p>Guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Work must be previously unpublished<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>We do<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>accept simultaneous submissions, however please let us know immediately if your work gets accepted elsewhere by sending a\u00a0<strong>message<\/strong>\u00a0through Submittable. Please do not withdraw your submission unless you are withdrawing the entirety of its contents.<\/li>\n<li>Please only submit<strong>\u00a0once\u00a0<\/strong>per reading period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Poetry submissions:<\/strong>\u00a0please submit 3-5 poems in a single Word document with no more than one poem per page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fiction submissions:\u00a0<\/strong>please submit 1 story or up to 3 flash with a maximum of 5000 words total. Please double-space and paginate your document.<\/li>\n<li>Please include a brief bio (about 100 words or fewer) and a mailing address in your cover letter.<\/li>\n<li>Please send us your work via our\u00a0<a class=\"text-style-link\" href=\"https:\/\/colaliteraryreview.submittable.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Submittable<\/a>. We\u00a0<strong>do not<\/strong>\u00a0accept email submissions at this time.
