Call for submissions: Fall 2023 (5.2) (print issue) For the Ages

Speckled Trout Review has chosen For the Ages as its theme for Fall 2023 (5.2) issue. We’ve all heard the phrase, “that’s one for the ages,” which suggests a strange, extraordinary, fantastical, or confounding event, situation, or tale that astounds and leaves us amazed.

Editors of Speckled Trout Review welcome submissions of unpublished poetry (nothing previously published in an electronic publication of any kind or in print) for its Fall 2023 (5.2) print issue. Poets can paste up to 4 poems pertaining to the theme, followed by a 50-word writer’s biography and mailing address, in the body of an e-mail to speckledtroutreview@hotmail.com. Please note: attachments will go unread. Poems with overt political messages are not for Speckled Trout Review. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please share the good news when a poem finds a home elsewhere.
