PFN – The Writers Circle Anthology Series Seeks Submissions about “Purgatory”

October 31, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Writers Circle 3 is going to be the final installment in our The Writers Circle anthology series. The theme for this volume is “Purgatory”. We are looking for pieces of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that portray the writer’s interpretation of purgatory.

Criteria:

  • Max story length is between 500 and 5,000 words.
  • You may submit up to two pieces at any given time, as long as their combined word count is 5,000 or less.
  • Maximum submission of 10 poems.
  • Previously unpublished (previous publication on the author’s Internet platform is acceptable) short stories.
  • Since we are going to prioritize local contributors for this book, please let us know if you identify as a resident of Canada/Turtle Island or if you are an international contributor.
  • Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please inform us if your piece is accepted elsewhere.

Stories selected for the anthology will be offered a contract for publication. The anthology will be professionally edited and produced. The eBook and paperback will be internationally distributed. Prime Press will promote the collection through social media.

Compensation:

Unfortunately, due to the lack of funds we have as a publisher, we will not be offering monetary compensation for entries within the book. All contributors will be provided with a free paperback copy of the finished anthology.
