This issue of Sinister Wisdom seeks contributions by lesbian, queer, and/or trans people self-identified as Mad, mentally disabled, and/or psychiatric survivors.
Send us your monsters—your cryptids, your undead, your aliens, your un-human creatures, your bodies of difference, your destroyer of straightforward categories and binaries.
We're looking for submissions that explore what we do in the moments after epiphany; the ways in which motion and stillness are inseparable.

THEMA Literary Journal examines how different writers respond to a single quirky theme.
The Garden is an anthology for stories that engage with the living world in all its glory and messiness. From blossom to decay, stories can interpret the premise in any way; be as metaphorical or literal as you wish – just don't be afraid to get a little dirt under your fingernails.
Out them is tools. You might create work that's inspired by the instruments in your garage, or by those used in healthcare and dentistry, in the arts and sciences, in tailoring, and in gardening.
Please pitch us about whatever you’ve noticed that’s weird and wonderful in your local arts scenes, updates on your long-favourite festivals and bands, supports you’d like to see for artists — we’re into it all.
It's the hottest time of the year, and things are getting sweaty. This month, we’re looking for steam and sweat and, yes, sex. Send us your best story where sex, desire, or lust lead to the undressing and undoing of those involved.
Of renewal and rejuvenation, of coming into one’s own maturation — the process of efflorescence is about surrendering to change and leaning into the burgeoning possibilities of the new.
